Thousands of molecular databases and hundreds of scientific journals are available which represent molecular data. Innovative molecular devices like high throughput sequencing technologies and proteomics analysis generates large quantities of high dimensional molecular data (microarray data, protein chips, etc.). The challenge of Integrative Bioinformatics is to integrate, align, model and simulate these data to have a deeper insight into complex biological systems.

This twelfth meeting on Integrative Bioinformatics will be of interest to Bioinformaticians, Computer Scientists, Systems Biologists, Synthetic Biologists and others working or interested in the developing area of integrative bioinformatics. The meeting will provide an excellent environment and a range of opportunities to present and discuss methods, theoretical approaches, and their practical applications.

Publication in the Journal of Integrative Bioinformatics

Accepted papers will appear in a special issue of the Journal of Integrative Bioinformatics (JIB) and will be available as printed conference proceedings. JIB is an open access journal publishing original peer-reviewed research articles in all aspects of integrative bioinformatics. JIB (ISSN 1613-4516) is indexed/tracked/covered by PubMed (since 2008), DBLP Computer Science Bibliography and Google Scholar.
